The difference between Card Points and Saga Points?
Members in Icelandair Saga Club earn both Saga Points and Card Points. The difference is simple;
Saga Points can be redeemed
Members earn Saga Points for all scheduled Icelandair flights and when they shop with our partners around the world. Members can redeem their Saga Points for products and services, such as flights, hotels and car rentals.
Card Points are for privileges
Members earn Card Points only for scheduled Icelandair flights. The Card Points determine whether you are able to earn Saga Silver or Saga Gold membership. When you have earned 40,000 Card Points you are upgraded to Saga Silver membership and when you have earned 80,000 Card Points you are upgraded to Saga Gold membership.
