For the past years, whale watching in Iceland has grown rapidly and is now one of the most popular activities among visitors. Seeing the beautiful creatures in their natural surroundings is a great experience and something that shouldn't be missed. 

We offer this package of flights, hotel and a whale watching tour with local specialists Elding. After pick up from your hotel, their tour sails out of the old harbour in Reykjavik and takes you to the Faxafloi Bay, well known for its good chances of seeing the mighty creatures. Among likely sights are Mink whales, Humpback whales and Dolphins.

Although the whales are the number one stars on the trip, the boat is usally accompanied with a lot of sea birds such as Puffins and Guillemots offering great photo opportunities.

Use the time not only to see whales. Enjoy Reykjavik City and the great natural scenery around it. Geysers, glaciers and the Blue Lagoon are among things not to be missed. The whale watching tour takes half a day leaving you plenty of time to explore Reykjavik and the wonderful nature surrounding it.
