A unique and unforgettable happening - next place to heaven it is called by
the lovers of the Icelandic horse from the world over. Landsmót is the
Icelandic name for the biannual National Horse Show of Iceland, the world’s
biggest event involving the popular Icelandic horse.
The schedule represents the pinnacle of excellence in the handling and
breeding of Icelandic horses. Only the best classified horses participate in
the tournament and compete for the most prestigious titles. A key ingredient
is the fellowship of riders and guests, singing and dancing in the Icelandic
summer night.
