Located in Reykjavik's charming Old Harbor, Whales of Iceland is a perfect way to discover more about the gentle giants of the sea. You'll experience the power and majesty of these beautiful marine mammals from the North Atlantic in a setting where you walk amid interactive life-size models of twenty-three different types of whales in all their shapes and sizes, including minke whales, blue whales, orcas, and sei whales. You'll also get to make the aquaintance of maritime residents such as dolphins and harbour porpoises.

Created using the expertise of a famous Icelandic marine biologist, the whale models appear life-like, creating the feeling as though you're on the ocean floor observing whales frozen in motion around you. You will also learn many interesting facts along the way. Visit the Whales of Iceland and come back with a new appreciation for whales, dolphins and their natural environment. Furthermore, you can combine this attraction with a whale watching tour, departing from the nearby Reykjavik Old Harbour.
