The perfect super jeep adventure to make your trip to Iceland both unforgettable and inspiring !

What is Super Jeep ?

There is no better breeding ground for off-road vehicles than a big, wild, tough place. Like Iceland! Super Jeeps are uniquely Icelandic, representing the pinnacle of extreme off-roader capability. Despite running the world's biggest available road legal tires, they manage to keep good on-road manners. They have crossed the Greenland ice cap, the South Pole and conquered the Icelandic Highlands - comfortably and efficiently.

Each Super Jeep is expensively hand built, purely for purpose, with up to 7.3 litre turbocharged engines, up to three transmissions, two steering systems, in-cab adjustable air suspension, lockable differentials, VHF radio equipment, marine-type satellite navigation - to name some.

Only in the specially equipped Super Jeep, only to be found in Iceland, you can be taken out of the regular tourist track to places accessible solely on the big, big wheels! And that is exactly what maximises the experience of all other fantastic activities: You come and go in comfort and style !

The following two tour options are available:

#SJE 3 - Reykjanes Peninsula; Volcanic Hot Spot - Express Super Jeep Experience

Geological Abundance. On this tour you can see how the forces of nature never rest. We will show you magical places created by the power of volcanoes, ice and time, where forces of nature worked their magic ! When long before recorded history of Iceland the massive glaciers slowly ground their way, shaping the land, constantly in creation.

The amazing terrain of the Reykjanes Peninsula is a veritable hotbed, with its lunar like landscape, bubbling mud pools and the mystic lake of Kleifarvatn. The dramatic, rugged landscape features volcanic craters, caves, lava fields as well as the geothermal waters and hot springs. Nowhere on earth is the junction in the earth's crust between European and American tectonic plates as clearly visible as on the Reykjanes Peninsula.

Travelling in a real Iceland modified 46" Super Jeep, you get to see Reykjanes Peninsula from all angles. If you like it rough, this is the tour for you !

#SJE 2 - South Coast; Volcano's, Glaciers and Waterfalls

Fierce and fantastic ! Remember spring 2010 ? When all the flight traffic came to a hault ? Caused by the volcanic eruption that took place in Eyjafjallajokull Volcano/Glacier ? This is it ! Not only is this the setting of the dramatic events that took place in the spring of 2010, it is a true jewel of nature, surrounded by 3 glaciers. You will get up close and personal to the powerful volcano and see with your own eyes the aftermath of the volcanic eruption. For most, this place is love at first sight when travelling through Thorsmork valley. Standing behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall further adds to the magic of this tour. Along the south coast we find another majestic waterfall, Skogafoss where we'll be walking right up to it, gazing at the water cascading 60 meters down and feeling the refreshing spray from the water on our face.

We will drive down to the black volcanic beach that covers about 400 km of the south Iceland coastline. You will feel, see and hear the roaring waves of the Atlantic Ocean as they beat up against the black sand beach. This tour is a true introduction to the forces of nature that are unique for Iceland. Additionally, travelling in a real Iceland modified 46" tire Super Jeep allows you to experience the sights and scenes in a comfortable way.
