On your flight to Berlin with Icelandair you arrive at the Berlin-Schönefeld International Airport located 24 km (15 miles) from Berlin’s center. Express buses make frequent runs, trip takes aprox. 20 minutes. A taxi will take you to the center in 40 to 50 minutes.
Shopping? Try the Kurfurstendam, a bustling shopping street with dozens of top level shops. A 12% V.A.T. minus tip is refundable for visitors form outside the EU providing they spend at least 25 Euros.You must remember your passport and have the customs officers stamp the forms before leaving the country.
