Flights to Iceland with Icelandair arrive at Keflavík International Airport located 40 kilometers (25 miles) southwest of Reykjavík city centre. The airport is small and convenient with Flybus and taxis waiting to transfer you to the city centre.
Shopping? Try the two malls, Kringlan, 5 minutes drive from the city center, and Smáralind, 10 minutes drive from Reykjavík center. The old city centre has a few solid shopping streets, Laugavegur, Hafnarstræti, and Bankastræti. Many great restaurants are located in the old centre.
