One of the world's great cities. Westminster, Covent Garden, Soho and Cambridge University are just a few reasons why you must visit London.

London, a vast and almost overwhelming city, constantly fascinating and always an adventure. Icelandair offers cheap flights to London to give you a glimpse of the wonders of this city.

More than queens and princes in London

Everyone has an opinion on London, having been there or not. Once you arrive there for the first time you will feel like you have been there before. If you have been there before, you are happy to be back since you know how much there is still left to do. Piccadilly, Soho, the changing of the Queen’s guards, the bulky taxies, the red double-decker buses, Westminster, Covent Garden, Buckinham Palace, Hyde Park, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Tower of London, Oxford Street and….we could go on forever.

Culture and sub-culture in London

Then there are the more personal traits such as the very special English pub culture. There you will encounter the English people at their best, having a pint or two at the end of the day. London also offers some of the best theatrical productions in the world, just remember to book in advance. Same goes for the top class restaurants as well as the soccer matches. London has some of the very best Premier League soccer teams, Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham, Fulham and last but not least the reigning English champions Chelsea. The English are very passionate and tribal about their soccer and a trip to any one of these venues for a match leaves a lasting memory. As you will have guessed already, there are so many things to do you will hardly know where to start.
